The dispersal of the Glencoe breeding operation facilitates a new chapter in the life of Max and Lynne Glasser who want to "wind down" their workload and focus attentions on resident stallions, 'Glencoe Abstract' and 'Glencoe Last Word'.

THE culmination of 70 years of successful heritage breeding was celebrated by Max and Lynne Glasser and families, Glencoe Australian Stock Horse stud, Pittsworth, when horses sold to $12,250.

Peter Brazier, Landmark, Dalby sold 32 lots with a top-price of $12,250 for a $5570 average to realise $178,250 for the Glasser family.

Demand for the fillies was exceptional with 11 averaging $6000, nine mares and foals averaged $6028, eight dry mares averaged $4938, two colts averaged $5500 and a pair of geldings averaged $3750.

'Glencoe Posh', a stunning 16-month-old, jet black filly by 'Glencoe Last Word' which was recently awarded the reserve championship at Toowoomba attracted the $12,250
